About Us: Membership

Support YOUR community organization! Join the Chesterfield Community Council. Annual dues are $10 per household; $15 per Block Club annually; $25 per Business establishment annually. Membership runs from May to May each year.

Dear Community Resident:

Did you know that you have a community organization working for you?
The Chesterfield Community Council provides a forum for you to voice your concerns in community development as well as city and state government.
Did you know that in the past twelve months that your community organization accomplished the following?
  • Provided free tax service to twenty-five (25) Senior citizens.
  • Sponsored housing fair with over 300 attendees.
  • Sponsored Basketball and Cyber camp for our youths.
  • Awarded college scholarships to community residents.
  • Educated over two hundred and fifty (250) Senior Citizens on Computer Literacy and the Internet.
  • Foot Patrol Officer for Cottage Grove - 8700 to 9400.
  • Fogged the entire community for mosquitoes.

  • Resolved numerous community complaints (abandoned autos, pot holes, tree trimming).
  • Enhanced the beauty of our community by planting flowers 8700 - 9500 on King Drive.
  • Fighting for better mail service
  • Fighting to in crease community enrollment at McDade School.
  • Successful 48th Anniversary banquet and family ski trip

Did you know what your community organization goals are for the next 12 months?

  • Continue to sponsor computer literacy classes for seniors.
  • Award scholarships to community college bond residents.
  • Fogging to help control those pesky mosquitoes.
  • Continue basketball camp for the youth in our community.
  • Community monthly newsletter to keep members informed of activities in the community.
  • Continue monthly meeting with an elected or appointed official for you to voice your concerns. Meetings are held every third Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. at Tuley Park Field house.
  • Respond to community needs as they arise.
Annual dues are $10.  Please join us every third Tuesday to have a voice in your community. Thank you for your support.
