The Chesterfield Community Council offers a Senior Citizen Computer Literacy
Program to all individuals’ ages 55 and older. There is no residency requirement.
Classes meet one day a week for ten weeks. Students receive thirty (30) hours
of instruction taught by computer professionals.
The program helps bridge the gap in computer knowledge and accessibility between
a younger, more technology oriented generation and the senior citizen community.
The Program allows seniors the chance to experience computers, gain new skills
and confidence while learning in a small group environment.
Beginning level classes are offered and students are introduced to Microsoft
Word Processing, Windows and Internet usage and given a working knowledge of Personal
Computers (PC’s).
Classes are held quarterly: Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. To register or
for more information, call 773-768-4911.
